Cuttwood Review A while back, Cuttwood Vapors was in a middle of a controversy concerning one of their vape juices. Eventually, the whole thing blew over but it did damage the company’s reputation. However, Cuttwood is still one of the largest premium vape juice manufacturers in the world and if the issue did anything, it made them raise their quality standards even higher!
In this Cuttwood review, we’ll take a look at some of their most popular vape juices and how their fair in terms of taste and flavour. Before we get into that, here are some generalities. Cuttwood is a US-based manufacturer of premium vape juices based in Los Angeles, California. Their lines are predominantly 70/30 VG/PG lines with huge amounts of clouds and intense flavour. They also claim to use only vetted ingredients and best possible flavourings.
So let’s take a look!
8 Great Vape Juices from Cuttwood – Review
Cuttwood Sugar Drizzle
Looking for a great morning vape juice to try out while sipping your first cup of coffee? Well, Sugar Drizzle is it! A great mix of sweet pastry and cinnamon, this vape juice will make everything around you smell like it came straight from the oven! The cinnamon is dosed just right – not too much and not too little. This is a real concern with vapes containing it since manufacturers do tend to go overboard. Not Cuttwood, though! Sugar Drizzle (previously known as Sugar Bear) is a perfectly delicate mix that will leave you asking for more.
Cuttwood Mega Melons
Don’t let the name fool you – Mega Melons is not all about melons. Sure, you will initially taste the sweet, refreshing aroma of cantaloupe but there’s a lot going on in the background as well. Mega Melons is actually a well-thought-out blend of mango, papaya, and cantaloupe so if you have a craving for sweet tropical fruits, you came to the right place. Fill up your tank, close your eyes and imagine yourself on a tropical beach somewhere far out in the midst of palm trees and white, glittering sand – Mega Melons will help transport you there!
Cuttwood Mr Fitter
Well, the name pretty much says it all, right? If you’re a fan of apples, apple fritters, or apple pie, you will simply love Mr Fritter vape juice. The inhale is a rich, sweet dough, much like a crust from a pie you’ve just baked. Soon after, you’ll notice that refreshing zestiness of green apple coming through. A pinch of cinnamon was thrown in at the very end, just to spice things up a bit. This fruity/dessert vape offers plenty of both vapour and flavour at absolutely zero calories! What more could you ask for?
Cuttwood Boss Reserve
Touted as a serious dessert vape, Boss Reserve lives to its name (and vapers’ expectations). It’s a great mix of bananas and cereal and although, technically, it could be a cereal vape, it really isn’t. Because it was carefully blended, you really get a feeling that you’re eating a banana cake with honey and cereal overtones when vaping on the Boss Reserve. The inhale is sweet and doughy, a true delight for the taste buds and the banana flavour is really noticeable. On the exhale, you will notice a touch of milky cream that really rounds off this flavour. Fancy a banana? Get a load of Boss Reserve and vape on!
Cuttwood Bird Brains
Bird Brains is another breakfast-inspired vape juice from Cuttwood. However, this one takes a bit of getting used to. Cuttwood earnestly tries to mimic the flavour of Fruity Loops cereal with Bird Brains, however, the artificial fruit flavourings are difficult to circumvent in this case. It’s definitely a cereal vape but the citrusy notes in it might not appeal to all vapers. If you’re really into Fruity Loops cereal or have particular taste when it comes to sour and sweet, give this one a try – it just might be right up your alley! After all, taste is nothing if not subjective and your taste buds might be calibrated for this sort of flavour.
Cuttwood Tobacco Trail
A lot of beginner vapers go straight to tobacco flavoured vape juices, hoping to closely mimic their smoking habit. However, what they quickly find out is that most tobacco flavours are simply – meh. It’s true. Tobacco flavours can be either a complete hit or a complete miss. Luckily for Cuttwood, their Tobacco Trail falls into the first category. That earthy, spicy, robust flavour you get from tobacco is nicely blended with honey and cream, both of which give it some depth. The inhale and exhale are still heavy on tobacco but the sweetness of the honey is always present in the backdrop, giving extra dimensions to Tobacco Trail.
Cuttwood Livid Lime
Cuttwood have been experimenting with various flavour profiles and most of their vape juices are pretty complex. That’s not true about Livid Lime. Part of Cuttwood’s Reimagined Series, Livid Lime is what lime should really taste like. Tempered and perfectly balanced, it has the right ratio of sweetness and zestiness to it. If you’re looking for something to tantalize your taste buds with, it’s right here! Livid Lime – a refreshing vape that cleanses the palate and leaves you bewitched!
Cuttwood Unicorn Milk
Definitely the most controversial of Cuttwood vape juices, Unicorn Milk is still going strong and is very popular with vapers. Cuttwood managed to completely nail that Nesquik strawberry shake with this one and we love them for it. The inhale of the Unicorn Milk is the sweetest strawberry you’ve ever tasted and that frothy milk flavour in the background ties it all together very nicely. The reason it’s controversial (or, at least, it was) is that Cuttwood used Titanium Dioxide for colouring. They have since removed it, losing that pale milky look, but keeping the same remarkable flavour!
Cuttwood Review – The Verdict
It goes without saying that we’re pretty impressed by all Cuttwood flavours. Not everyone will be, though. Taste is very subjective but, luckily, there are plenty of Cuttwood flavours to choose from and we’re sure you’ll be able to find a vape juice that suits you perfectly. We hope this Cuttwood review was helpful to you! If you have any questions, leave a comment or send an email – here at Vapelux, we’re always happy to help!
